FINE ART Chris Prosser

I have always been drawn to the sea and am constantly amazed by the beauty of the rugged Pembrokeshire shoreline that surrounds me. I often take myself off for the day to explore new areas and to soak up the atmosphere.

Visual information is stored and documented through photographs and sketches as well as memory.

These are used back in the studio as a starting point from which my work develops. I am fascinated by the movements and rhythms of the sea and try to capture the ever changing interplay of light and shadow within a composition creating a sense of heightened drama or serene calm.
