Nature has always been a passion for me, my first memory being carried on my father ‘s shoulders and hearing a blackbird singing its goodnight song atop a small yew tree in our local Park.

Birds in particular have been a joy in my life and the natural world and all its wonder and colour and light has kept me sane through life’s stressful moments.

Photography has been my way of capturing and keeping those special moments.

My style has evolved over the years and capturing simple images and abstract nature give me the most pleasure. I like my images to capture the art of nature.

I was bought up in Rural Wales alongside the River Wye at Builth Wells and spent many hours roaming the countryside and walking and exploring the river and its special wildlife.

This led me to a career in fisheries and countryside management before retiring to concentrate on getting back in touch with nature and capturing this beauty through the lens of the camera.
