The view of Snowdon from Llyn Nantlle is a never-ending wonder to me. It changes from moment to moment, thoughout the day, and I have painted it in acrylics because of their quick drying and flexible qualities. As an art student in Liverpool (1960-1965) I would visit the Walker Art Gallery daily to study Richard Wilson’s painting of Snowdon from Llyn Nantlle. The view and his masterpiece are inspirational.
