Slated Remains has been created from coloured laminated porcelain with thin layers of volcanic glaze oozing from between the ripped porcelain pieces. The sculpture is a response to the historic Welsh slate industry and the landscape that has emerged, now mostly abandoned by man, it is slowly being reclaimed and transformed by time and nature.
