This piece is intended as an examination of colours – the nature and strength of their relationships with each another, and how balance is achieved among elements that could all be a focal point.

How I experience things and how others experience them will never be exactly the same, and so painting is paradoxical. It is both the gap and the bridge between full, clear expression and understanding. Being queer and autistic, I exist in the liminal space between the two. It is this that inspires me, and that I try to capture. I exist at the point of greatest tension between intuition and intentionality.
