Sarah Evans – Ystradfellte To Sennybridge

My submission is a painting contrived mainly from memory and familiar surroundings, depicting the stark, harsh landscape near where I live. The work is  based on a series of landscapes of Ystradfellte. This particular painting is based on a small remote farm on the road from Ystradfellte to Sennybridge during the Winter of 2017. The painting depicts a feeling of isolation and remoteness that is sometimes felt during the winter months.
