The Waterfront Gallery supports established and emerging artists working across mediums, from painting and sculpture to photography. Situated on Milford Waterfront, at the Old Sail Loft on Discovery Quay, it overlooks the busy scene of the Waterfront with its’ boats and fishing vessels. The Waterfront Gallery is considered one of Wales’ most progressive gallery spaces, which, as well as promoting local talent by offering internships and work experience to school and college leavers, has exhibited international work as part of its’ Wales Contemporary competition and exhibition programme for 2019-20. This international programme continued again in 2022 with a competition for both two and three-dimensional work, followed by an exhibition at the Waterfront in October 2022 and an exhibition at the OXO Gallery on the South Bank, London in November 2022.

The gallery is well worth a visit and on the Waterfront itself there is a hotel, holiday lets, a museum, a variety of shops and eateries and plenty to see, so why not make a day of it. We are close to the train station and to bus services and for those who drive there is plenty of free parking.

For those visitors exploring Wales’ Coastal Way just a short hop from its’ southern reach will bring them to Milford Haven, the Dale peninsula and the Haven waterway, the second largest natural harbour in the world, in and around which magical undiscovered coves, inlets and beaches can be found
