Newspaper, tissue paper and wire were used to create the structure of this piece.
I am constantly fascinated by Papier Mache and the many and various forms that it can assume. I love to explore and experiment with this medium, of plants transferred into paper, and transforming the paper again into the delicate petals of a flower or into a solid piece of furniture.
My inspiration comes from the endless sources, myths, music, legends, the beauty of the Welsh countryside, or from having the luck of capturing an idea from a fleeting thought!
Each piece that I create is unique, handmade and hand painted.
