Jan Palin – Mountain Way Near Rosebush

Lovely morning in March 2023. Looking towards the mountain near Rosebush, a village which lies in the southern slopes of the Preseli hills. Calm and tranquil with muted colours, so added yellow gorse which was there but with added drama.
I love to paint in the Pembrokeshire countryside. I was born in Derby and won a scholarship to go to the Joseph Wright School of Art. I paint in all mediums. I like the subtle colours of the Pembrokeshire coast.
